Not a whole lot of info about our frag swap on the home page. How about telling people what time it is going to take place.
Or is it just a waste of time coming on this website.
The info is posted at the top of this forum with all the info on it including the time.
I will be at the swap by 11:00 and can stay till the end and help tear down and clean up.
Hey now, I’m new to this and have never been to a frag swap. I have some frags I would like to bring to trade. I have listed some stuff on the fragswapper.com site, however I don’t know the proper etiquette for these things. Should I/may I request a table to set up a small display?
I’m not a big seller and am not really trying to make a profit, just trying to have fun and go home with some extra corals.
Please let me your thoughts and what I should do
What time are we aloud to setup on Saturday, it looks like rain that day.

Welcome to the hobby…you dont have to have a mega setup to request a table. There are a couple different ways to have a setup. Some people bring corals in individual “soup like” cups and a light and sell them like that. Others bring tanks of various sizes and sell them from that. If you do a tank setup you will need a tank, light, heater and water pump or small hang on back filter to create a little flow and bags/cups to sell the corals in. Regardless of what type of setup you do, you will need your own extension cords and surge protectors/strips.
Thanks Sean! Also we ask for a donation with a $25 value for our raffles. We will supply you a table. Let me know if you want to reserve a table

I would say no earlier than 9am. If you are earlier than that we may not have all the tables set up yet.

Speaking of the donation…since I am getting out of the hobby and dont have any corals to put into the raffle…did you want me to donate a piece of equipment of just pay a fee for the table?
Thanks, Sean and nerak, that sounds great.
I will come prepared and with a donation for sure, please reserve me a table.
Thanks again for the advice/help
Hello everyone!!! The swap is only a couple of days away. I hope everyone is excited!
For those of you setting up tables, setup will start no earlier than 9am. Please be sure to bring all necessary equipment needed for your setup. Tables will be provided by us. Please be sure to bring enough extension cords/power strips. We will not be responsible for supplying these items. The only thing we are supplying are the tables and an electrical outlet. Please come prepared. If you have any questions dont hesitate to send me a message.
I have an updated list of participating vendors/hobbyist listed on the first post of this thread. If I have missed someone please let me know and I will get you added. Looking forward to a successful swap.
See everyone Saturday!
Tank Breakers will be joining us!
