Dont feel bad, i got frustrated just trying to read the manual verdict_in
Okay, I actually got my tripod out and shut the flash off. ;D I think these came out okay. The moon lights were on and I actually got a few decent shots. The leather is a neon green color:
This shot of the zoas and ric I changed the WB from auto to 9750K I think.
This is a really interesting goni that I picked up from The Fish Bowl a couple of weeks ago. The colors are actually pretty close to actual and I didn’t do much post processing at all.
Nice pics Ellen! what are you doing to focus? manual or auto? how are you releasing the shutter, and are the circulation pumps off?

Thanks John. I did not turn the circulation completely off, but I did turn the vortechs down. I used a 10 sec timer and used auto focus. I know the flow definitely caused some blurr.
All the pics i’ve seen of yours are amazing, and very sharply focused…I figured something was causin the blur since you’re using a tripod… what iso were you on?i didnt see it in the pic data i was curious if you tried diff iso’s, and which was better for results? … my camera has some trouble with the auto-focus in low light moon lighting, and did you use the timer or a trigger release? and if the tripod is on a floor or rug that moves even a little, it will will add blur at a 1/8 sec shutter time. what kind of lens are you using btw? photoshop? I’ve went back and looked at your copperband pics several times… they’re just amazing… :BEER

Thanks John. Your advice at the Feb. meeting is helping a lot. I need to stop being lazy and get my tripod out more often.
