I just wish I could test for them. Everyday I look at the tank and say it looks worse then I look and say it looks better lol I can’t decide if the colors coming back or not.
So, how’s it going Tim? any improvements in color in the past couple of months?
Upstairs there has been some improvement. But frag tanks look kind of bland. It does look much better when I cover the white LEDs I think I’m going to replace them with blue or green
or put more VHO over the frag tank like the DT.
I am replacing my 6500K white leds with Bridgelux 10,000K leds
here is a recipe chart that MakersLED put together to match some of the more popular fixtures.

OOOOH!! Good summary list Frank. I have been looking at the Maxspect razor with envious eyes. seems like a nice mix for LEDs. That looks like their 16000K version.
Good info! I’m seeing all these successful systems with t5 ken. I was hoping to get different colors out of the same coral with different lighting. To be honest I’m kind of in a lul about the tank. I do the maintenance on it but thats it right now. Everything is growing great just colors aren’t ideal. Thinking I need to start selling some for more room again
GREAT info from Makers, thanks for sharing! Someone like Ken can probably provide more info, but I’ve been thinking about putting atleast two of these into a DIY LED build as of late.

“The LED combines 3 different custom wavelengths inside one board to allow you to improve the color of your corals and bring out the warmer colors. They also bring out some magnificent colors in fish.”
