How fast Are You?

It’s not that MAC will never give you a problem, its that MAC will never give you a problem you can fix, there is a reason PC’s are used in 98% of office desktops.

Yep, Mac’s aren’t better, they are just idiot proof… If it no longer works, you cannot fix it, so replace it and give them more money.

Lol I won’t act like a computer expert but as a consumer Mac is better in all ways and I mean all ways. I owned both and have experience with them both windows made me hate computers and I didn’t have time to wait for the system to turn on and run five programs to make the one I was using work. I had to buy a program anytime I needed to do something and it would never work right. Yes a Mac is idiot proof and that’s what I want. I don’t want something that doesn’t work. I know it’s a sore subject but I haven’t met anyone that has a Mac that wishes they had a pc. The price is my only complaint. I bought a hp computer and one month took it in to get fixed and they told me I needed a new one, so I returned it to their surprise I bought it from them, them bought a dell and it was horrible I couldn’t hook a vid camera up to make a movie. We sprung for a Mac hooked the camera up and made movies. Now we own two. Of course this is my opinion. But there is nothing anyone can say that’ll make me think different. If Mac and pc were the same price I guarantee all companies would have one and pcs would be gone lol

macs like any other computer can have their problems , but you have to give them credit for some awesome computers.now the reason PC are used more in offices is not just because of problems ,but because most business software is built for windows. They also train people to use pc instead of macs . It would not be cost efficient either to buy macs for companies that just use simple software.

Just like any company it’s all about the :TWOCENTS lol. No really a pc is like $2-400 a macs like $900 and they are already set up for pc it would be stupid to switch but if the price was closer it would be stupid to stay with pc. I had a hard drive go bad and I ripped the screen of our Mac it cost $200 to fix it if it were a windows I would have just got a new one.

Here is my gaming pc I built this year for $600, It has 4x the gpu of a ps3 and I can go from power button to online in 11 seconds. It can run any game/gfx software to date. I experience no lag what so ever.

The problems you had before are because of the brand, not the OS. Dell and HP are the Kia of cpu’s.

LOL ironically, recently I got an iphone 4s, and I put the stickers on my cpu…

I know i know, it needs dusting…

That looks really cool. The apple makes it look even better lol. I thought dell was good I had no clue. That was 7 years ago too. But we still have our 6 year old Mac book. Still just as fast as new too. That’s funny you have an I phone why not get the windows phone. Had to say it ;D

Awe, Yous guys are just too Awesome for me! Mine just might need some adjusting. i dont know. or for sure its way behind the times in speed, processing and ram. but still chuggs along. i might get a break this weekend. just found out AOL released a new rev. on their desktop software. AOL 9.7 is out. so i will install it this weekend and maybe they fixed some of the browsing curfuffles bugging my old sytem.

Macs sound good. but then i would have to learn some new puter stuff. and they cost a lot. I do get my moneys worth out of my puters. ive used this one 16 hours a day for the past 7 1/2 years. Now how many of yous guys have kept a puter that long? before flipping it for the next hot model? And its an E-Machine to boot~~~ need I say more?

Actually, my younge Brother said he just bought a Mac desktop. But he is having problems getting his Music synthesizing/mixing software to run on it. He built a recording studio in his basement. just to play around with . Other than it not doing what he bought it for, he likes it.

Hey? how many watts does it take to run those high end models yous guys have for gaming? Do they burn more watts than your tank? that is a consideration for me. my puter goes on when i get up, and off when i go to bed 16-18 hours later. every day. padding the light bill.

Lol ken no offense but that sounds like my dad ha ha he had an e machine. Actually he might still have it, it’s slow capital S. he just got a Mac desktop and loves it but there is a learning curve. He calls me to figure it out (that’s scary). To me pc is A different language and mac is common sense. The way they work just makes sense. But running programs can be a pain. I did have some trouble updating the apex but it was due to an update needed then it was smooth. Any puter is outdated in a year, just like phones, cameras,tv’s and any electronic device.

Yeah Dunk, Your Dad and I are probably in the same boat. Just keep bailing!!

My computer goes off only in power outages, lol, my carbon foot print is that of a 747…
