i heard calcium does wonders for slime. some guy was talking about how his friend at seaworld told him to dose with calcium… he raised it kindof high and the next day the slime was crusty and flaking off…

I will try the 3 day with no lights thing, then do chemi-clean.

Just ordered RO system. Its a pure water club 100gpd otds… i read and heard sometimes it leaks and sometimes it dosent and is hit and miss. I also heard that the guy will fix what dosent work (just a matter of time). so we will see…

It was cheap so cant go wrong…

as for skimmer im looking for a new one on Clist…

lol hopefully be here soon, i just hope i dont have leaking problems … comes with float valve too… and i plan on doing a 50%change shtting lights off for 3 days then doing another 20%

I personally think of the float valve as an emergency back up. Don’t really trust them 100%.
