this is the tequila sunrise that i put downstairs it is growing faster and seems to be coloring better its only been down there a week

thanks I know the color could be better i did install an algae scrubber and suspect its cleaning the water really good. I use the scrubber, gfo, carbon, skimmer and the refugium i think the water is too clean is that possible?

WOW Tim, those frags came a long way in a short period of time, nice!! +1 on the cherry pickin.

It is possible to have too clean water. It’s called ULN (ultra low nutrient systems). Be-careful with that especially, if you have other animals in your tank the requires some nutrient. They will shrivel up due to no nutrient.

Thanks A i need to feed more i guess I really think 5 trates and .04 po4 would be ideal. I may take the gfo off line in a month or two. or reduce the amount more i call for 4.7 cups or so I cut the dosage down already to 2 cups but po4 is still low. i really think its the algae scrubber.

Keep as is so you can feed your tank a little more if you want.

Looking better every day! I have to say, after a visit a few weeks ago, it looks even better in person. Dunk , you still have a problem with your photo blue balance. to get the true colors. Its a nice tank!

Awsome Tim! I see most of the softies are gone, except for that large patch of zoo in the bottom left corner of the tank. Took them down to the frag tank?
