Would the school call me if they close? My name/number is on the form for reserving the cafeteria. If not, do I just check their website? Forgive my ignorance, I don’t have kids and don’t ever need to look up school closures.

I have found Facebook to be more valuable in finding out if school’s close, or close early.
Bryant - they will call you after the fact to reschedule our night if they need to close, but they haven’t given me a heads up the day of previously.
Don’t worry - it’s on my mind - I’ll post up when/if my daughter texts me that they’re being let out early.
Besides - next Monday is too far away to be able to accurately tell if it’s going to snow or not. Heck, today is a perfect example - it was supposed to start snowing this morning, and be bad all afternoon, school’s all closed by 1:30 - it’s now 2:50 and not a single flake has fallen.
There’s close to 1 inch here already craig. It’s on its way bro ya brotha.
Doesn’t really help me now - I had planned on using it as an excuse to leave work early today >:::

Who knows but it doesn't look like we're gonna get blasted to badFunny thing about Delaware school districts - you don’t actually have to get blasted, someone in the office just needs to THINK we are.
Wednesday is a prime example - Kids go to school, school announces early dismissal due to pending accumulating snow.
All schools dismiss, and all kids home early. Snow doesn’t begin falling until after the kids would have been home regularly.
Snows for 2 hours then turns to rain.
Looking forward to making my first meeting…when will a yes/no call be made if wx is crappy? Personally, I’m game regardless, but I’m sure with our area they could hype up Armageddon-like conditions and we’ll be lucky to get a flurry, lol.
Still can’t find a gallon of milk or a loaf of Damm bread though…

The school gets to decide if the meeting gets cancelled due to weather.
We will update the site as soon as a no-go call is made. If you don’t see it posted that it’s canceled, then it’s still on.
