The mangroves root actually growing in the sand not on the rock and yeah those are macro caulerpa

very pretty and unusual in comparison to a reef tank. really nice. keep up the pix

geez im soo jealous, i love that setup…happy i posted this so when mine gets up and running i can always ask a fellow club buddy!!!

what are your future plans plant wise? any more fish your looking at? does that potential for the caulerpa to go sexual scare you in anyway?

whats the red coral above the feather duster?? some kinda shrooms?

Not really sure what I want to do yet maybe some softy and lot difference kind of mushroom and more plants:)
and yes those are mushroom above the duster.

A tank like that can pull double duty. Not only a fine looking planted biotope, but a fully functional fuge too to keep the reef tank happy!
