Very cool!
Almost there, wired and attached together, now to attach molex plugs and blackout everything but the lenses and still waiting on my VDM for my Apex.
Hudz! Just for scale reference, how long is the two sink assembly end to end? is this for a 36 inch wide 65 gallon RR tank ? just wunderin about the light spread angles and such for coverage. to give us some purrspective of application.
as it is now they are 24" it’s for a 36" 38 gal display, it is overkill as far as light goes and I will need to have down around 40% I guess, should also be good for a 65 gal.
Frank, what size are those heat sinks? Rapid LED are out of the 20"x6" till may. Nice build by the way, very clean looking. Are those gonna be hung or built into a canopy?
I would love to see this setup on the par meter.
OK they are up, mounted and dialed in.
I have them at 10" above the surface with 60º Optics
With Blue Drivers set at 850mV and White Drivers set at 1000mV
At 100% Blue / White /UV I am getting
200 PAR on the bottom 18"
350 PAR at 12" down
400 PAR at 8" down
550 PAR at 4" down
700 PAR at Surface
Running on my APEX with
White LEDs

This is just starting settings, I will be ordering the seneye reef monitor next week and will tweak with it.
Hudzon, are you able to post some pics of the lights on the tank? I’m in the research stages for a 48LED system for my 90gal.
I’ll try to get some shots tomorrow
Any updated?
Is it too soon to tell how the corals are reacting, color wise, to the new mix of light? i suspect that will take a few months.
I will have some more info for the meeting, I was already running LED + T5HO so the biggest change was just a slight spectrum shift and using the LED for UV
