tank has been up for almost 2 yrs, that is a elibi angel, and the red coral is carnation coral, but it is not doing so good, figured id give it a shot but wont buy again. started coral about 5 months ago. thanks for checkin it out. chris
What kind/how much of lighting do you have?
tank has 1x250w mh, and 4x39w t5 acitenic, and two clusters of blue leds.
Very nice. I love the look of bow front tanks. Don’t necessarily like trying to clean them myself, but love the way they look.
How’s the sailfin in there? I tried keeping 1 in my old 92g corner, but it didn’t provide enough swimming room to keep it happy.
Is that ricordea white? If so, I would try to move it so that it is shaded from any direct light from the MH and see if it can recover. Any coral that is white does not have zooxanthelle and is bleached (as well as anemones). Ricordea, especially Ricordea Yuma (which that appears to be) can bleach fairly easily when subjected to bright light without acclimation, but it is possible for them to recover if they are shaded.

this bow tank is not a corner tank. just bowed front. think it’s 36" long or so. like a standard 45 gal with a bowed front. pretty sweet tank tho. GolfC
Tank looks very nice, how is that yellow gorgonian on the left doing?
Nice tank, but is that a clown tang in there!? The salfin gets huge, but that clown tang, they are VERY active fish and need tons of room! Watch out for aggression from them too.
first off, thanks for the advice on the ricordea, i moved him and we will see how he does. Second the yellow gorgonian is doing a lot better now that i moved him , and i did have some aggression at first with the tangs but they seem to leave eachother alone for now. :BEER
Very nice tank! I would plan on upgrading down the road for the tangs. I had a small blue hippo in my 39g and I was surprised at how fast he grew. I am glad I moved him sooner rather than later because my water quality in the 39g was begining to suffer.
I like the colors of your lights. They really bring out the colors in the corals.
