What to do with 8 gal. of water?

btw… mantis shrimps are AWSOME!!! so are harlequins.
btw divers den has acro crabs in stock if someone is looking

How much do these guys eat? Starfish legs do often stay alive for a long time. They are pretty nasty when they do die and start to rot. Regardless if they rot on there own or get eaten I just figured what goes in one end…comes out the other.

1 leg per week lasted him. and he usually wouldnt even finish the full leg

thts so sick lol… how would you get the legs…

lol, probley a knife or scissors…or you can go barbarian and tear an arm off…ha

I’ve got mixed feelings myself. People always feed live mysis and brine shrimp and never get worked up about it, but a star fish is some how different because it is larger? Same people that get choked up on star fish probably choke down at least 30 cow burgers a year and that is a lot larger animal.

so the way to keep harlequin shrimp is to have a few stars separately and remove an arm from different ones when needed until the arms grow back??? any particular star work best?

got it moliken, i had 5 stars for one shrimp. i used regular sand sifting stars.

btw, the legs grew back and i never killed a star

of course they did, but that is really cool, starfish harvesting…
