Not sure what your referring to? What back flows?but no it didn’t have a check valve. I wish it had an auto shutoff tho. On the list that goes.
It does have an auto shutoff (in theory). That’s what the pressure switch and solenoid are for. When the system is pressurized and you close the product valve, that pressure flows backwards through the RO membranes and out of the drain. We need a check valve on the output of the RO membrane to prevent backflow. When the product valve closes, the pressure sensor will sense there is enough pressure and close the solenoid valve and shut off the pump.
Should be able to get one from Home Depot of Lowes.
I have a valve on my waste water line that I close when I’m not making water, I keep the membranes pressurized when I’m not using it. And just unplug pump.

That can be replaced by a simple check valve and then you won’t have to unplug the pump or turn any valves.

Not sure what a fishing bag helps with, but… thanks??? lOl
This system shouldn’t need an auto shutoff valve like that. It has a pressure switch and solenoid. That stands in place of that.
