Jason Fox
I don’t think I’ll ever purchase anything like that in those price range. I still have hard time buying a 1" frag for $25.
I read or heard rumors about Jason Fox that he buy/collects same item with variety of colors and calls it his own and sell for higher price since it came from his collection. I don’t know anything about him or follow him. I do know that his stuff that he sells are very high priced.
Was looking at one of his pieces a “store” called chili pepper monti, looked nice but was the size of a dime for 75 bucks…NO THANKS.

Give something a new name and call it “Limited Edition” and you can charge whatever some dumbasss is willing to pay for it. GARF does it, Jason Fox does it, anyone that ever tags their name to the front of a “rare” frag does it.
No one is genetically engineering or molecularly altering corals to make them any better than a collector could find on the right reef - they just get a pretty one, grow it out, frag it up, give it a cool name and charge you for the privilege of buying it form them.
I’ve got a tank full of DRC El’Presidente limited edition, exotic, rare, bulb tipped green neon spectra majano anemones I’m willing to sell for $185 ea.
golden raffle item, guys.
The diver that collected this coral probably got :TWOCENTS for it. I am not impressed.
