these zoos are as I purchased them from altis reef. much better colors on the oranges and greens and purples than the pictures show. They have doubled in number since i got them. size of the colony ranges from 1-2" they are not fragged from me. they have all been in the tank since early january.
names that i can no longer id as which were which, except as noted. they were called whammin watermelon, something harvest, something radioactive, gb packers, and other names, but if these really are that variety, i don’t know.
$15 for each zoo colony. i really doubt if any zoo has fewer than 20 polyps, if less than 15, then $1/polyp;
the brains are an aussie neon green and an aussie alien eye purchased from reefempire. neither is a really fast grower, but under moonlights, they are amazing. polyps extend on both during night and sometimes as in the picture during the day. these guys will take small pieces of meat. size is about 3-4". numerous eyes are out of camera sight. $25 each LARGER BRAIN SOLD TO GORDONIUS. SMALLER ONE TO IAN/STARRY.
i missed last meeting and must also miss the may meeting–i hate relatives. i could pack corals in bags and meet somewhere midpoint, or you could come here in smyrna and offer me some advice on my tank arrangement, algae, etc. i know there is some algae in the mounts, but if i could remove it i would have
i need some more room for my acans [and to buy some more?] which is why i am getting rid of these. will also make a great pkg deal if you have interest in everything
both sellers are on ebay, so you can see generally what these guys sell.
photos are under my nova extreme [2 actinic 4 t5HO]
these two are on the same rock, but can easily be separated
only one of the 4 here not in an indiv pic is top left
called “weedy green” spreads and grows faaaast, larger polyps than other ones
ZOA WITH THE PEPPERMINT SHRIMP IN BACKGROUND IS SOLD TO ELLEN
I will take a brain, not sure yet which one, have to ask the gf.
Probably the purple white speckled zoos (last pic) and maybe the orange skirted zoos in the 4th from last pic.
I’ll take the white and green brain.
jon, white’s not a good word for the skeleton color. there’s more brown than the pic shows. sorry. white/brown is much more like it, just to letcha know. the green is even greener though.

Any more pics of the orange skirted zoas?
It’s always hard getting an image that directly portrays what the animal looks like to the naked eye. Regardless I’m up for it if it is available. Would you mind holding it for a week or two? I can pay pal you the money if you would like right now, but things are a bit hectic to be running around town and finding room for new corals.
holding it for you. $$ can wait until we’re ready. no prob. just want to make sure it gets into a good home/tank. it’s a beauty, a few long sweepers at nights about an inch long and many smaller tentacles.
we want the green one for sure.
Damn you jon! I wanted that one!!!
only the zoos left.
I’ll take the orange zoaz that have brown centers with white stripes. We can make arrangements for pick up. Just PM me. Thanks.
nice shots. i have the same orange zoos but my pictures are trash compared to yours. wish i could take pics like that. u know im here wondering why my zoos have not sold but its clear to me now, its all in how you show your coral. the better the coral is represented the more chance of a sale. u know how everyone says these pics dont due justic well that could mean the difference between someone going out and buying that phanonominal coral or someone completly disregarding it as something they may want in the future.
just wanted to say what i was thinking and thought it was important to anyone who may be selling coral.

let me know when, as i’m getting a little worried. a few people elsewhere said yes to the zoas, then backed out. others wanted the brain you want.
I would like it for sure and won’t back down once I spoke up. Like I said I can send the payment via pay pal today if you’d like. Just have to set up a meeting time/place. Sending you a PM.
Jon
Jon if you wanted to back out we will still take the brain (wanted that one anyway!)
oooh oooh like an ebay auction.
sold to the highest bidder.
minimum bid a million.
sorry ian, right now jon sez he does want it. and still $25 of course if you and jon work something out between yourselves, anything works for me.
Oh Well…
a reel treet. v funny, kapten.
conferring with what kind of flowers?? hmmmm? the kind that makes the brain light up?
Thanks again! Sweet coral. Was surprised how neon bright the green was even under day light. Sorry I was in a rush yesterday. We’ll miss you at the meeting. Keep an eye on the board for summer events tba at meeting.
