You read that right! I am moving to Philly, and was contemplating upgrading to a 24 gal, but the sad reality is that we will be moving again in about a year and a half to NYC, when tanks of any size will be unfeasible, due to the size of the apartment we will be able to afford. So either now, the little tank can go, or in a year, after I have spent all the time, dedication, heartache and money on a 24, I would have to sell it. :’(
Sooooooo…
The 3gal is still in great shape. It needs a little TLC ( I have difficulty getting all the detritus off the sand) and there seems to be some long green seaweed that hitchhiked in, but the fish is still alive and swimming, there is a turban snail and there was one living dead snail, but I have not seem him for a while so maybe not. There are several different types of polyps and zooas, plus some pulsing zenia, an antheia (that is thriving!) and some star polyps. I have also had some shrooms (look like tree ears, actually) and some tube worms sprout up.
It has 2 filters (to keep up water movement), a heater and the light on a timer. With the tank and occupants also comes all the necessay equipment-testing stuff, nets, the lid (acrylic-needs a cutout for the extra filter), stuff to kill red algae, food, basically the whole set up.
I am asking $50, but OBO will be accepted. I am moving the 28th and hope to have it gone by then. I have loved it, but I think I will wait on the next one till we buy a house!
Everything goes as one whole, sorry guys, no pieces! There should still be pics in the member tank forum. It looks exactly the same, only a bit more algae right now.
The corals look a little sad right now, due to hair algae overgrowth, but they should perk right back up and flourish under better conditions. I had to makeshift a cover to keep the water from evaporating at a high reate of speed, and it cut down on the light.
