This is my 30g DT 20g sump/fug build I put together on 9/9/12. I plan for it to be a mixed reef with Black Ice Snowflake clown fish. I’m also planning to build a led panel from RapidLed sometime soon but looking for a 36 inch T5 for the time being…My original plan for setting up my 125 was cut short after I found out the floors of my apt couldn’t support the weight… :-("…But moving forward I still have a tank to continue my hobby…Let me know what you guys think.

sorry to hear about the 125, you may be better off waiting for a permanent place for a tank that size anyway :TWOCENTS
besides, think about how much easier cheaper it will be to stock and light this tank ::
looks like your nitrates are around 20 from the pic… are they dropping on their own yet?
Thanks bro…That test was done on the 18th…I got some cheato on the 19th so ill retest on the 25th and see what the levels are.
That should help a lot… If the chaeto is happy with the light and everything, it should grow like crazy, at least double in size over the next few weeks or month, and sucking on those nitrates in the process ::
In your photo #11, is that current look of the tank or is that previous? Do you have another set up? Either way, the tank looks nicely set up. Like Saltcreep said, it look like his and I think it does too. Except you don’t have an arch like his. ::
Lol that 150g isn’t mine it belongs to a guy I purchased live rock from…It was just in the album I uploaded. I wish i had took a better pic of it…In person it was beautiful.

Hello again everyone…Im sorry for not giving updates recently…busy semester. The tank is 4 months old as of now and doing great…Id like to know what you all think…Any questions are welcome…I think im ready to stock corals and a pair of clowns…Currently there is 1 blue chromis, 12 blue leg, 20 reg leg, and 4 scarlet reef crabs, 10 nassarius, 2 margarita, 1 bumblebee and 2 turbo snails, lastly 2 peppermint shrimp. As of 1/6/13 test results are (Phos 0, Nitrate and Nitrite 0, Ammonia .25, PH 8.3 Salinity 1.025).

I have an led that i won in the raffle, 165 shipped i think. its over my 30g (36’’ standard 30g) and its perfect. if i switched the 125 to leds i’d buy 3 of these in a second…
if you have two lights and decent bulbs you could do a lot coral-wise
