Hey everyone - my intentions with this tank was to have it set-up as a QT for my other systems, but it’s set-up in the garage. With the cooler weather setting in, I guess my heater happened to die and the temp dropped down to the mid 60’s with my little clowns in there. The clowns are good though, can’t really believe it. Anyway - I got them out and acclimated them to my office nano where they appear to be a lot happier - lol.
I’ve come to terms with the fact that a QT in the garage in the late fall / winter time isn’t working out as well as I had hoped so I either want to sell it, or trade it for some other things I’m looking for.
I’ve put this up here before, don’t really remember what I was asking… don’t really feel like looking for that post.
This is a pic I took today - full of water, has some live rock in it and a small ball of chaeto. The tanks been cycled and there have been no chemicals added to the system. The clowns were purely in there for observation only since last Saturday.
This comes with the tank, stand, canopy, metal halide lighting, an Icecap ballast, some blue DIY LED’s for moons, a dual pulse wavemaker and 2 maxi-jet 1200’s. NO heater included.
The tank is scratched up that’s why I was using it as a QT but you can use it as a display - your call.
Everything works, it holds water just fine and it’s nice custom build quality.
I’ll take $250 OBO for everything mentioned.
I’m also looking for a RO/DI unit, a smaller QT set-up that I can keep inside, skimmer for a 150 gallon + rating, and I may entertain frag packs, etc.
