Just getting the word out that my baby is going to be broken down in the near future. We are building a house and have to get this one on the market to sell. Not that easy with a 850G total volume setup in place. I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or knew of anyone looking for a setup this big.

Thats a lot of disasembly! I guess you can convert the tank stand room divider into a buffet counter top. got good overhead lighting to keep the food warm.
Perhaps a local fish store or restaraunt needs a grand display tank. Or maybe TFP would sell it on consignment? they had a used 700 gallon tank there for a long time. i think i saw it marked sold in the back room with the used tanks a few weeks ago. Thats all i can think of.
Can’t you just take it with you and build the new house around it?
What kinda dimensions is something like that?/Are you selling any of the livestock?

Doesn’t hurt to just put it up for sale locally on the forums and Craigslist. I see stuff like this all the tim especially on RC. Doesn’t hurt to try. If you part out, I’m sure a lot of us here including myself would be more then happy to buy all your livestock and equipment and you shouldn’t have a problem selling a 500g tank in this area. Goodluck with the selling/buying of homes, hopefully you’ll go bigger in the next house! Maybe someone would be interested in purchasing the house with the aquarium?
How much are you looking to get for the ENTIRE setup and are you willing to help set it back up in the new place?

The dimensions and parts are on the build thread that Ken posted. 108x30x36. I do have some recent pictures that I will try and get up in the near future.
I thought about parting it out but that is a lot of foot work for all of that stuff.
I am not very heavy in the fish department as I only do water changes about every 6 months +/-. I have a yellow tang, chevron, yellow eye cole.
a few blennies, and gobies, and a few others interspersed. There are two maximas that are about 6 years old.
The whole setup cost me about 30K with the finish work. I will entertain offers.

Starting the livestock breakdown process, I will try to get a list together and pictures available for email in the next week. I have a few large LPS/SPS colonies and huge pectina if anyone is interested in show pieces. I will keep you posted. Also if anyone has any hardware requests let me know for when we get to that stage. All of the parts are on the build thread. Also have a NIB sterilizer and ozone unit.

How is the list coming along with the live stock? I might be interested in some pieces. Would be a good idea to put starting prices next to the items also
