Here are couple of pics, putting livestock in today hopefully will get some picture later.

Looks like a sweet set-up.

Did you say you were adding livestock today? This set-up is still dry and empty. There is no way this has had a chance to cycle yet.

Looks good. Not a fan of those returns, anyway to cover them up? And why are you running a 4ft light on a 3ft tank? I love the 8 bulb setup though, I have a 6x54 tek over my 120g. I would look to trade that light for something 3ft. Where you getting liverock? I might have some for sale, might also have a 4x39w light, but doubt you could use that.

only concern i would have is the distance from the light to the bottom of the tank. i know the 65’s r pretty tall and adding over a foot of separation will prolly greatly reduce the amount of light that reaches the bottom. otherwise, looks like the eggs r in order. GolfC

The reason why I have the 48’’ light was because I planning to sale of the 65g to get the 90g but some how I cant sale the 65g so end up keeping it. Another thing was most of the stuff I buy was for 90g big problem so I have to do lot of custom work to fit, I’m going to be move back to MA soon so I just set it up for my sister.

still working on the VHO for now just the 48’’

Nice hardware set up. all pretty good stuff. now all you need to do, is add the right biological balance to get it living and growing together. That’s the fun part!

Liverock added. PBJ!

Looks like some nice pieces of rock. Stacks well together to make some nice alcoves, caves, and crevaces.

nice scaping. gonna keep it bare bottom? i kinda like the look myself.

Just pick up Aqualight Advanced Light Fixture with 2 x 150W HQI Lamps going to take it apart tonight and try to custom it into the hood with 2bulbs VHO. Hopefully everything going well

Cool! A DIY man. you can make it fit.

One thing I would change:

I would not hang this pump and only have it supported by the tank. Pumps vibrate and not right away but soon it will break the tank glass. Add a pedestal to the pump that is attached to the stand to reduce vibrations.

Other then that it looks clean; nice work

Lookin good Jimmy

Lookin good Jimmy[/quote]

thank Bill and thank for the help with the water

Just install VHO light

just receive this today PBJ!

What brand is the Ro unit? I have not seen filters like the ones on top before.

Nice job on the hood and lighting. The setup is looking great. I use the RK2 and you will like it allot. The R/O D/I unit should work very good. Looks like it has the auto stop valve hooked up to it and the stop float, and dual D/I filters on it. Sweet! Good luck with your new setup.

I LOVE my RK2!!
