I had a customer come in that ordered this tank but knew nearly nothing about saltwater aquariums. He showed me what he ordered and here is the link… bayshoreaquarium.com - bayshoreaquarium Resources and Information. I said it probably is too small for even clown fish and Anne (my co-worker) agreed. I then asked Scott who was in, i think his name is Cash something on here but he agreed and pointed out that there is no Coraline algae or any algae period. When looking at this tank please note the size width wise, the filters, and also the cleanness of this tank.
Watch the video that is called “one year review” and tell me what you think.
Am i crazy or is the guy that has this video on the page crazy?
Any input would great appreciated.
Sincerely, My insanity
If you watch all the videos, they are giving out misinformation on how to setup and maintain a saltwater tank.
I think it is a total RIP-OFF!!! >LOCO<
A heater is extra.
They show using a plastic hydrometer to test your saltwater ::
They say to use tap water when mixing up your saltwater.
And because there is no REAL filtration, you would have to do many water changes.
And the price is RIDICULOUS!!! verdict_in
Yeah that was me in the store. I pretty much said it seems like complete ::bs:: . If i had to guess I would say they just set up the tank, threw in the fish and lied about it being running as shown for the last year. I told the guy I would not recommend this for many reasons but he pretty much seems sold. I have also had many request for these types of tanks at my job, so they must have a good advertising campaign at least. Personally I would not want it. Sure it looks cool but it is just not practical.

If reality TV has taught us anything the best fish tanks in the world are beautiful and that is all that matters. Those of us who know what we are doing also like them to actually hold water and keep the fish alive for longer then a couple hours, but apparently that is just being picky.
