90 Gallon tank Price?

Hey everyone,

looking to upgrade to a new tank and i’m looking at a couple of used tanks online. I found a ~90 gallon cube with stand selling for ~400. Is this a good price? it includes tank and stand.

I’m not sure, but i think a regular dimensioned 90 reef ready is about $330… no stand.

If you buy used, LOOK FOR SCRATCHES!.. take a flashlight and a sheet of black paper if you need to.

Had all my buddies lug a 180 to my house that “wasn’t scratched that bad” … our two definitions on “wasnt that bad” were worlds apart… >:::

hmm so thats not so much of a discount is new is 300… stand can’t be worth more than 150-200

I think thats what my buddy just paid… 335… brand new, all drilled, corner overflow 4ft 90g…
Stands vary alot, plain or fancy… if you have semi decent tool skills you can make one for cheap… and theres always people getting rid of stands it seems on craigslist. My opinion is go brand new on the actual tank…brand new perfect glass, and no worry of leaks… priceless… but thats just me…

ok so it seems like 400 is high related to even other tanks selling. any suggestions where to look for a tank (new)?

the tank is actually 30x30x24 so a little more than 90 gallons

keep in mind i’m huge dpa fan, live 1/2 mile away, and do their pictures… so i’m partial to the store!
cant go wrong IMO ::thumbsup::
