That looks great John, I love side shots.
That setosa is gorgeous!!
Looks great John
Lots of color
Great looking tank John. everything has grown a lot since we visited last summer.
Thanks Craig, the setosa has grown into four different colonies now. I will be trying to sell one at the swap.
Thanks Bill
thanks Ken, the growth form the LEDs may not be as fast as anything else, but I am very satisfied with it. You must stop by again, when you take a mac trip
WOW! look really nice John. That is a really nice Setosa colony.
Really nice tank. Love the side shots ::
Sweet pictures, sweet tank. +1, Like, Thumbs up, Digging it, and all that jazz(It’s a shame DRC does 0 social media) Anyways, I like what I see, good job John.
Hey we have a Facebook page. Just not enough likes to make using it worthwhile.
Besides I spend enough time on the computer.
Thanks “A”, Just Some Guy and Jon. I really enjoy sharing my tank pics by using the club site because they are being viewed by people who totally understand how much we appreciate this hobby. :BEER
And since I am 2hrs away from most of the club members. ::
Looks amazing John ::
Tons of color, and an obviously happy, healthy reef!
There’s probably no bad point of view of your tank, all your hard work and experience really shows. Anybody, well, almost anybody can setup a tank, stock it up and make it look good, but keeping it healthy and growing for years like yours takes skill.
Hopedully one day have a reef half as good looking as urs
Thanks for the compliments John and Joe. ::
You know it’s a funny thing, after I retired, people always ask " What do you do with all your free time?" Well I think from now on I will just say nothing and show them a pic of my tank. ;D
very nice i want to get down and check it out i will like to make the trip hopefully summer time…
thanks Tim. you are welcome anytime.
John what LEDs are you using?
John’s lights were DIY from someone else(he didn’t make them). I believe that’s the case…
that’s correct Jon. they are a DIY unit composed of 36 Cree blue 3w LED and 36 Luxem( not sure of the spelling) 3w white LEDs, for a total of 72 3w Leds and 216w with dimmible drivers.
updated video taken with my cellphone.
Sorry about the poor video quality.
Tank looks great!!
Great up dates John
