First I thought a contrast pic would be cool, before and after…
after the cycle and stock started going in
3 years later.
GBTA’s gone wild
s’more
awesome Acan Enchina
… would you believe I haven’t changed my water in almost a year? :-)###

Looks really good Tim. Even if the water has not been changed in a year lol.
Nice tank Tim.
Hey. What’s that green thing?
I assume you mean the pic under the acan, thats a Favia.
Wow! nemo’s home haven! Nice looking tank there Tim. How big are those nems?
Looks good
So have you tested your water at all in the last year? Would be interesting to see what the parameters are of your water now.
Do you have any acros in the tank?
Is that the tank with the algae scrubber??? It looks GREAT!!!
looks cool Tim :: low maintenance… still adding two-part? or anything else besides topping off?
I feed the fish and top off the water, thats it. I know I need to change the water, its not an experiment or anything just lack of giving a crap right now, too busy. I’m surprised its been so good myself, yes acro’s are in there and growing just fine if not for the GSP starting to invade the colony… #@$^ just under the 2 anthias in the tank shot.

I’m curious about the parameters also, whatever they are, everything looks happy ::
any losses, or algae issues ?
are you gonna do a w/c, or go with the “if it aint broke…” approach?
Its gotta be nice to know it’ll run on “auto-pilot” while you’re busy though GolfC
It is the only loss I’ve had was my clam buried my Trachphylia in sand, I watched this happen over time and didn’t try to resolve it so its my fault but oh well. I will test the parameters some time and let you all know. I’ve had 20 gallons of salt water ready to do a WC in the rubbermaid container next to the tank for 2 months now…
there’s a little cyano on the sand but it hasn’t changed in 6 months.
Congrats! You seem to have reached biological balance nirvana!
Hey Tim, the pic of the the acan colony, is that the same acan colony that was used in the calender?
If so, is it up for sale and do you have a better pic of it.
Thanks

The very same one!
It is for sale. YGPM
not sure if this is a better pic or not but I just snapped it real quick for a different angle.
Can you get a close up pic of it with all your lights on?
Thanks
I was wondering why my pics keep coming out so blue, I forgot when Sandy hit, while I didn’t have a power outage, I did have a fluctuation that blew 2 of my t5’s and I threw in 2 old ones temporarily that are both pure actinic.
