I know someone trying to find a good home for a frilled dragon lizard. I hope I got that right. I know nothing about herps. I think she just wants to find a good home for it. If you are interested PM me your contact information and I will pass it along to her.
Hi, if it is a free to good home situation, I’m interested. I don’t mean to sound cheap, but juvie bearded dragons are only about $30. If it is a frilled dragon, I’m definately interested. They are larger animals and have more extensive care requirements, I’ve considered one for a while now.

I am pretty sure it is a frilled dragon. I have never seen the lizard. It belongs to the daughter of one of my coworkers. I was told the lizard was given to her by someone who couldn’t take care of it. She mentioned it needing a larger enclosure and that it liked to run around. I told her I would ask around. That is about all I know. Let me know if you are serious. I need your contact information so I can pass it on to her.
I’ve always been a big fan of the Lizzard King!
Does that help?
The End…
Definately interested, I have a cage that would suit it in the basement. I’ll PM my contact information.
I have always wanted one however have too many animals to care for currently. I have two herps I keep, but hardly handle any more.(leopard gecko and bearded dragon) The tank my bearded is currently in would probalby be large enough. Perhaps when I retire I’ll find time for a frilled, but currently just wouldn’t be fair for me to take on the care for any more animals.
Jocephus, if you end up taking it in we’ll have to have a tank tour at your place soon just to check out the herps, lol.
Uhhh??? No Herpes for me! Thanks!

Heheh I’ve actually scaled WAY down. There was a time when I had a reptile room that would match anyone’s fish room. I had 35 snakes, a couple of large monitors, beardies, turtles, you name it. The only thing I never got into was the green iguana craze. Not an animal really suited for captivity.
thats a lot of reptiles. you’ve really got to like em. the closest i’ve come to keeping some are the 6 foot black tree snakes i find wintering in the garage closset or lumber pile in the garage. or i find their shed skins in there every spring. last spring i found a 2 foot baby living in the shop vac. it must have been crawling in and out through the hose.

I thought I would post the pics just in case anyone was interested.
wow, great looking lizard and tank! almost makes me want one, but its not on my sons list:) He wants an iguana!
Logansdaddy-
I’m sure you are way ahead of me here, but just to be safe…
He may want to re-think the iguana, they are really not suitable for pets. They are the equivalent of keeping a naso tang in a nano tank. Just require far more room than most are able to provide. Plus, iguana’s are the second leading cause of reptile to human salmonella cases. I’m sure you’d teach your boy to wash well after messing with it, but worth considering. Oh, and if they are not regularly handled, they get very nasty. Maybe talk him into a bearded dragon?
Just my .02 (I’m not a big fan of these as pets)
Very pretty frilled BTW.
