Summer BBQ 2010

What a great time we had at the BBQ this year. Probably 15-20 club members showed up to eat, drink, talk, and just hang out. The food was excellent - Burgers, dogs, and “Ken Kabobs” all lovingly prpared by Mrs. cdangel0 (otherwise known as Lynn). Fantastic Mac & Cheese as provided by Ellen. Great organic potatoe salad from Paul. Out of this world brownies from Courtney, Pineapple upside down cake by Marty and Mrs. Martyu. Ice cream by Chris. Baked Beans and Broccoli salad by Barb - as well as a ton of other stuff to numerous to mention.

“DRC Appreciation Raffle”[/center]

For those that missed it yesterday, the Club Officers decided to donate a 25g rimless cube tank to show their appreciation to those that participate in the club boh in an active role and in a supportive role. Everyone that attended the BBQ was given a free ticket in to the tank raffle. (Note from the editor - yeah great - I was thrilled to see Marty’s wife yesterday - if she hadn’t been there MY wife would have had the winning ticket!!! Yell) We even included tickets for those that couldn’t stick around to the end just to be fair Laughing

All in all everyone seemed to have a great time. It was nice having everyone over, and it was nice hearing how nice my tank was for a change - as opposed to the "God will you get your freekin hands out of that tank and come to bed already?!?!?!?! "- that I usually hear.

I had a blast and Eden did as well for the time she was there. Thanks for having us over! I think at some point in time I might have left my sunglasses somewhere, so if you find a pair put my name on them!

Always a pleasure seeing everyone from the club and meeting the new faces. It is always a blast at the cdangel0’s!

I left mine too, they looked jus like Ians, lol :wink:

We found 2 pair on the table this morning. I’ll be home later if you want to pick them up.

We’d like to say a special “Thank You” to Chris (of Chris&Barb fame) for taking the time to document some of the festivities photographically for us.

A big thank you to Craig and Lynn for hosting the BBQ. It was a great time!!

Chris made some super yummy ice cream and Lynn’s decadent smore’s cake was the best. That broccoli salad was pretty darn good too! I guess you can tell from my post that the food was a big hit. If you didn’t make it you really missed out on a fun time. PBJ!

the broccoli was da bomb!!! and so was the mac and cheese!
i wish i could have taken off work so that i could have stayed longer. i really didnt want to leave!
