better glue at the $1 store

I went to the dollar store today to get a couple of those “3 pack” of super glue gels… they had them, and right next to them was a new kind from the same manufacturer.
It comes in a 2 pack of .1 oz instead of the other which is 3 @ .07 oz tubes…

the new glue is called “future glue gel” … same looking package… but the tubes are a little bigger and easier to work with, and the glue is thicker and faster drying… I just made a couple frags up (after the clowns re-arranging) and the glue is much improved IMO… def thicker ::thumbsup::

does it say cyanoacrylate on the tube? or what is it made of?

on the package it says… contains ethyl cyanoacrylate

I just fragged matt a birds nest last night I have to say its way better then the more expensive adhesive you can get at a local fish store :-)### z<>z

  • 1 on the future glue gel…used it long before the aquarium related mfr’s started slapping their own labels on inferior products that dont hold as well…

Wait, no one told me I was supposed to use the glue that the fish stores sell me… ::rofl::

I haven’t used the new dollar store glue yet, but I do have a new package at home for my next frag fest.
