Great to hear you are starting the macro up earlier…I should have myself.

I could probably gather up some stomotella snails from the bottom of our frag plugs for you. I also have mini stars… not the brittle stars just the kind that like to eat green corraline algae that have three legs most of the time. Not much in the way of pods… our mandarin keeps them down to almost zero in the tank.
Awesome Icy, I don’t have ANY of those little stars in my tank, except for 1 i think that came from that frag I just got from you, so I would def some some of these.

Because (from what I’ve heard/read) it spreads, and can go sexual. The going sexual I heard it can dump all its nutients back into the water. Also heard/read that it does great in high nutrient environments (knocks them down), but in low nutrients it can’t survive as well and hence when it goes sexual. I’m not too keen on all the macro knowledge so that is just hearsay but from some knowledgeable folks.
Long light period and consistent pruning battle both of these …
Thanks Ted, I think I’d just rather not use the caullerpa in case I get too lazy to prune!

Ian, i could bring some micro stars and pods to the mod meeting sunday if you are attending. I gave some to Tom last night and Andy last week. big happy ones. and anything else i find in the filter floss.
Sounds great Ken, if you’ve got plenty to spare I’d love some, I hear you have some awesome bio diversity.
