Brown hair algae

OK here’s my contribution

Hopefully this weekened I’ll get a good one for ya that doesnt have Mr. Bangii in the way.

I don’t mind him. I wish I could have gotten the whole anemone. I really like the color

It is a really nice anemone. Is it a RBTA?

The ones with the green foot are collected from one place, i forget what the call them. The colors are so pastel though, are the colors accurate or is it just the pick?

If you’re trying for something for the site, the size needs to be 400x100 px. Like this:

Yea, that anemone is awesome Icy, good pic Al. I’m not allowed to have an anemone yet, so I’ve got no pic to post :frowning:

Or this:

Ok this one is funny

Not bad, but i dont think its the best pick to work with. The colors kind of run together and the picture looks distorted when its reduced in size becuase of the perspective with the clown and cardinal. Im also not a big fan of having the logo over the art. The more i look at Ted’s 2nd one, the more i like it.

Actually I would like to have a better image to start with as I cut off part of the anemone. If we could get an image without the fish in the way we could cut the anemone in half at the spot where it seems to be splitting. Then add in the fish.

I really like Ted’s 2nd one.

I really like Ted's 2nd one.

Those colors are accurate. It actually isnt a Bubble Tip anemone, as far as I can tell its either a Seabe anemone (Heteractis crispa) or a Ritteri anemone (Heteratis magnifica). Im not really good at anemone ID, and if anyone is I would gladly take opinions.

my guess would be sebea because of the coloration, not to mention the fact that ritteri’s are almost impossible to keep.

:-)lolLMAO

I couldnt tell ya on the color thing… I have NEVER seen a healthy sebea in any pet store. They are always belached beyond much hope… then again most anemones are other than aquaculutred BTA’s.

I agree, I don’t think its the best pic to work with. I was just playing around

Lol, I just had to make the little guy say something
