Hey Craig, what’s the ISO do? Not too savvy on cameras
ISO is an old measure of film’s sensitivity to light. The lower the number (i.e. 200) the “faster” the film and less sensitive to light. The higher the number (i.e. 1600) the “slower” the film and more sensitive. So for low light photography you’d use a 1600 speed film so you wouldn’t need a flash.

Very nice pics, your tank and corals look really nice and health. I noticed the green cup frag… looking good.
Those green cups are the brightest things in my tank. You can’t help but be drawn to them first. Thnaks again - they really are beautiful.
can you explain your sumps better. i was thinking of doing something like this. i understand it somewhat but i would be thankful if you could explain it, thanks
Well Brett unfortunately I havd a pretty nasty tank crash this summer and lost most of my coral and many of my fish. Everything is just now starting to come back.
As far as the sumps go:
I have (2) 1 1/2" overflows drilled through the back of the tank. The overflows drain to a 29g sump which houses my skimmer (ASM G3) and a filter-pad contraption I made that forces 100% of the tank water through the media of my choise (sometimes phospad sometimes carbon, etc.)
The sump pumps up to a refugium via a mag 9.5. It’s too much pump for the refugium so I have it dialed back via a ‘T’ valve which recirculates a good portion of the water through the sump - which really adds to the gas exchange keeping temps constant and the water well oxygenated.
The refugium flows back to the DT via gravity - the return coming out of the fuge (2") is set about 6" above the lip of the DT.
The sump and the fuge are set a few feet to the side of the DT in a closet which enables me to close the door and significantly quiet the crashing water from the drain lines, the skimmer output, and the T valve for the return pump.
On a shelf above this sump/fuge set up I can put a 5 gallon doser that I use to mix Kalk and fresh RO water and use as a kalk drip / ato. I also have room to add more dosers for calcium, alk, or anything wlsae I feel needs it (8 foot shelf).
thank you for the information and sorry for your loss. i know how you feel my 25 crashed twice.
how do you like the system and would you change anything if you could do it over? im just trying to get some idea of what im gunna do with my system. thanks
The only real change I would make would be to add a 3rd level in the sump closet (between the sump and the fuge) and plumb in a true frag tank. It was part of my original plans but I changed my mind at the last minute and excluded it.
Thanks Paul - just 2 anemones there’s a torch in the lower right corner (on a seperate note I just added one to the lower left corner tonight) that looks like it could be a nem in the 1st pic. Yhe anemone that lived in the back of the rocks finally disappeared completely.

craig has some nice looking mushroom anemone’s that look almost like regular anemone’s!!!
I took the Wave2K out which freed up a good bit of aquascaping room so I rearranged the rock work to make some new caves and features. Please excuse the coraline on the glass. I need to do some cleaning too.
