Canopy build

So after some time i decided to take on the DIY task of building a canopy that will support my new
LED lighting systems. The struggle is i have a 72Gal bow front so tell me what you all think…

This is the 1st corner up with the two frames. The bottom frame will have the LEDs
mounted to the underside.

This is the whole back put together with the two rounded pieces in front to support the
wide bow which will make the over all fixture stronger.

After about 20Mins of wrestling with glue, Nails and screws i stabilized the front piece.

This is just some trim to give it an over all cleaner look. took about 10 mins and was well worth
the effort, i believe it gives it the real furniture look.

After letting the glue dry for about 35 hours it was time to Finnish it off with two coats of paint!

Ill post more pictures when the canopy is over the tank with the LEDs mounted inside, Thanks for

Kaptken- yeah it is pretty light weight I would not say any more then 15/20 pounds if that
