Casey's Aquatics

PBJ! PBJ!Welp all,
Im taking a little venture to see if i can get it off the ground. There are quite a few DR offices and places around here that talks about having an aquarium or pond and I’m hoping to help them out. Ive seen some tanks in the past that these places are paying for (renting) that look pretty bad and have some very unhappy/unhealthy fish in them.
Im hoping to them with salt/fresh water aquariums, ponds, and anything else aquatic. Ive been in the hobby for roughly 9 years and yet i still don’t know everything, i think i know enough to help others learn about the hobby of reef keeping or housing captive breed fish. I know some of my post that i put on here from time to time may not seem like I’m fit for this but I think I am. Believe it or not the wife was the one that encouraged this dive haha.

Let the bashing or support begin. I will keep you all updated as to what projects we get into and the success of those systems. Just wanted to let you all know about this because we think of everyone here as family, you guys were the first group we became apart of after moving from NC and have been here for us every step of the way with our previous projects.

Take care everyone,

Casey

Go for it!!! If you think that you are fit & have the knowledge, skills and drive to make this work you will succeed. There are many people who are willing to give you the nudge to get things going, prospective clients, suppliers & contacts. I wish you the best in your new venture. Let us know how it works out. ::thumbsup::

Thanks for the support scott. This will be done out of love for the hobby/ animals and wanting to see people enjoy it without having to worry about dead fish or fish off the coast. I have seen a couple tanks in the area that look to have fish right out of the waters around here that are not colorful and definitely unhappy being taken from the large bay or ocean and put into smaller spaces. I am active duty military so i am going to try to find just 1-2 clients starting out and if my free time permits, i will look for more.

I would think I would start with Insurance and then permits needed.

Thats the easy part. Once i find some people interested, I can have insurance and such in a couple days.
