I’ve got a couple of emerald crabs in QT along with one remaining peppermint shrimp. Once they molt you can move them over to the DT so I watch them closely so I can move them right over. One of the peppermints molted and I had a hard time figuring out which one it was. Yesterday I thought I saw two emeralds mating and grabbed my camera. Then I saw a third emerald crab… huh!? Then it hit me… it molted! Amazing how much bigger it is after the molt.

Yep. Emerald crabs are reef safe. Although all crabs are opportunistic feeders so you should use some caution.
