Does changing kelvin cause corals to react poorly? I have been using 20,000k bulbs and have changed to 14,000 k. so far, i have seen some negative reactions by certain corals i have, some blue zoos have closed up even though they are place in a shaded area on the bottom of the tank and two ascans i have are looking stressed. wattage and duration of light span have been the same.??
How long have you had the new bulbs? You might try lowering the lenght of time the new bulbs are on, until everything adjusts to new lighting. Gradually leaving the lights on a little longer after a few days till they are back to the original lenght of time.
