I performed some surgery today to remove a clam from a rock that was sitting where I needed to place some new SPS frags.
Ok, thanks to everyones help the operation was a huge success. The patient is resting right now on the sand bed and looking very good. It is open all the way and enjoying it’s new found friends.
I couldn’t cut the clam in the spot where it was located so I had to remove the entire rock. Here is a pic of where it was before surgery.

I hope it survives in it’s new location or my days of performing surgery are over.LOL

Mine are doing pretty good but I did loose one of my big Dr Mac clams couple weeks ago for no apparent reason ??? ??? Anyway got 2 small gold ones couple days ago and have 4 coming new Friday including a 7 inch teal green and gold. YahoO TOP 50 Maxima Clam - Tridacna maxima
