Rob, how big is the RBTA?

how big is the birds nest?

PM sent.

The BirdsNest is an awesome piece. My SpiderMan Ruler (yes I really did measure it with a red ruler with SpiderMan on it…I’m not stating that my Spidey Senses are guestimating its measurements) measures it at roughly 4"x4".

The RBTA depending on its mood, is typically 5"x5".

I LIED about the Frogspawn. Its evening now so I can see the heads better…there are 14 heads on this sucker!

A that’s a clone of mine.

Yep, its a Jason Special  Its still on the original rock that Jason gave it to me on too. Apparently this guy likes to stay put!

PM’s replied to.

How much for dragon soul favia?

You’re the pro man. Any decent offer is cool. Its on a GIANT rock, so you either get like 8lbs of free live rock with it, or I try to hacksaw off a corner for you. I’d just like to see it go to a good home here in DRC.

Its 3"x3", and 2.5" tall.

I’ll take current pictures of the colonies tomorrow. I had to do some “gardening” in the tank tonight.

Karen brought up a good question, and I wanted to share it here.

I do still have flatworms in the tank. As some of you know, the flatworms are removed pretty easily from a “piece” by shaking it, waving it around in the tank, or rotating the piece in front of a powerhead to blow them off. I can dip everything but the RBTA. But I just wanted you guys to know that there IS a risk of flatworms. I will do my best to make sure they’re free of them, but there is always that risk.

Flatworms can be food for some fish as long as they don’t get outta hand.they can be removed by flatworm exit which works well.also don’t forget to dip everything you buy from anybody or any store

flatware exit
Works well for getting rid of your knives and forks also ::rofl:: ::rofl:: ::rofl::

Dam phone! Auto correct

Agreed, that’s how I got em, rookie mistake not dipping my original corals.

Any luck getting new pics?

I’ll grab em tomorrow. Got caught up on other chores today.

Pics!

Yes, I tossed the before mentioned “SpiderMan” ruler into the tank for scale reference.

Pics of the Setosa…awesome frag that isn’t just one big “blob” like a lot of setosa out there. Lots of fingers shooting out of this sucker. Comes on the rock!

I have two neon green lepatrea colonies, and some red zoo’s also. Included a picture of a hairy mushroom rock covered with shrooms, some favia colonies, and the neon green fluorescent acro that I got from The Fish Bowl when we had our meeting there. (This was the green glowing acro he had in the back room that he fragged up just for us.)

PM me or reply here with any questions. If you prefer toting, PM me your phone number.

More pics of the Dragon Soul Favia since I’ve had some requests. Its recovering from a slight mis-hap with over lighting (Sun burn). Its actually very much on the mend and is doing fine. If you’re wondering, I’ve been feeding it New Life Spectrum THERA+A 1mm pellets, before that is was Sera Marin pellets. Same as the fish eat. Its fun to watch it eat. I should post a video of it eating and speed it up a bit so its not so boring. The elongated eye at the six o’clock position is actually splitting into two. The mature mouth is at the top, the new mouth is forming at the bottom. The coral is green tipped on the grow-out portions where the coral is expanding.

Pics are with just my ambient office lighting (Diffused CFL bulbs), Flash from the Nikon D60, and the white channel of the ReefBreeders LED’s that does include white, blue, green, red LED’d. Taken at Midnight.
