Coral Farming in Florida-its working...

i had to share this vid i found on another forum for those who havent seen it…

there is this awesome part where the coral is spawning, and they have it covered with a net…

at the very top of the net there is a baby food sized jar catching the coral eggs…crazy

The ending is depressing. “The challenge is what ever is causing the reefs to die off in the first place on shore pollution, over fishing, global warming, remain a threat.”

Thats a breath of good news for the Florida reefs. they have been in rapid decline. Now if they could just get some native elkhorn grown, spawning and resistant to the temp and chem changes, things might improve.
