I got 2 last week one for December and then couple days later the one for January and February. The mag is top notch with amazing pics and real thick paper.
Ya its not cheap either though, but its not like normal mags where its mostly adds, it takes you a good long while to read all the way through… very intersting though… and omg the pics are to die for…

For those that did not make it to the last meeting Bill won a free subscription to CORAL magazine in the golden ticket raffle. I will explain the golden ticket again(in case anyone missed it the first time) next week when i post the pre-meeting thread for January. I will give a hint as to the golden ticket item: think T5 retro…think very nice!! ;D
Will there be frags for the raffle again as well?
Yes. Barring any disasters there will be a frag raffle at every meeting. Ideally the frags will always be higher end stuff. We dont have everything quite lined up yet but i do know there will definitely be two “uncommon” ORA SPS frags and one very nice lord frag.
I will try to get the meeting thread up over the weekend after we fill in more details.
i forget the name of the mag we just got in at the store, but its one of those freebies… it had an awesome atricle about fragging and growing out sps sing bare bottom tanks, acrylic rods and acrylis racks. smoother surfaces for better flow and easy to keep deitrus cleaned from the racks and tank. and the sps encrust down these small acrylic rods extremely well and completely disappear when covered versus the plugs and such which will always look like a “bump” under the coral… check it out if u get a chance. reef keepers mag i think. pretty sure most lfs get em in 4 hand outs.

If you have a ultrviolet in the sump and fill with tap water in the sump does tap really matter.I have had no issues so far with tap (knock on wood)
