Just a FYI, Tri-color Valida vs Hawkins Blue Echinata, Valida wins… I think I saved it but overnight the hawkins fell over and was touching the Valida and this morning it had two branches down to the skeleton.
Just a reminder…when placing corals in a location, make sure that it is secured properly. Snails and other creatures can knock over corals when they are not attached to a rock firmly.
By placing a frag on a rock without something to hold it in place is asking for trouble.
Yeah I had an open brain attack a chalice. The chalice lost in one night I lost 1/3 of the chalice.

Luckily this hasn’t happened with a super aggressive coral but i have had some monti’s fall before.
I use aquamend (or comparable putty) + superglue gel to glue all of my corals down once I find a spot
