Corals Mania Anemone GB

Congrats again John.  ::thumbsup::

Thanks Bill
I heard that we are supposed to get 6-8 inches of snow down here tomorrow. hope that doesn’t interfere with the shipment up there.
A, if you get the order on Wed, maybe I will take a ride up to you on Friday

I just check with Johnny and he’ll get back with me. Whenever you want to come up John, is fine with me.

ok thanks A, I can make it up on friday

Just spoke to my supplier he is going to check on the weather (Delaware before shipping). He wil check with me first and I will contact A. Johnson to make sure we are on the same note.

Great

Suppose to be really crappy here tomorrow

Good Morning members! Here is a e-mail from the supplier: Public Alerts Help

I don’t want to ship into that, or the aftermath. The storm warning, lots of snow goes into Wednesday 6 am. There will be freight backlogs. . .as well.

I agree. I think we should maybe wait till the following week or whenever is feasible.

If there is a problem I can hold a lot of stuff floating in my basement to keep things warm and I live a little more north in Dover then A or hold it over night if needed I have plenty of space ::rofl:: don’t worry I’m not looking for free fish

Its gonna be really nasty cold the whole next week or two. does the shipment come by plane? or train? a cold stay in a warehouse or truck could be bad.

by plane (fedex) could do a hold at the Fedex for customer p/u

Local pickup or airport pickup? unless everyone agree to wait till the weather clears up to shipped (after our meeting on Monday). I can deliver for the people up north and the one near me can stop by my house for pick up. Let me know.

Im down for whatevers best for the fish A.

What day is scheduled for delivery? If you are making a trip north that day can we set up central meeting place & time for everyone to get the stuff they ordered?

No date determined yet. Wait for you guy to agree to wait till the weather clears up to ship.

I am fine with waiting until the temps are good to ship!

I am fine with waiting

I don't have a problem with waiting either.

Only makes sense to wait for better weather

someone posted this on a cichlid page I am on. Said he got the info from his supplier. Not sure if this is the airline that would be used for our GB or not. Thought I would share.

From South West Airlines: "Due to weather conditions with temperatures well under freezing, we are placing a restriction, effective immediately, on the following perishable items: flowers, plants, herbs, vegetables, tropical fish, and live seafood. This restriction is in effect until 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 26th.
This restriction is placed on inbound, outbound, and through freight in the following stations: MDW, BWI, EWR, BOS, PHL, PVD, ISP, BUF, ORD, IAD, CMH, IND, DTW, CLE, ROC, ALB, BDL, PIT, MHT, MKE

Please be advised that if freezing weather conditions continue, this restriction could be extended."
