I was looking at craigs list the other day and came across this guy who had pics of some very nice frags, so i sent him an email.
Here is a copy of the entire exchange between us.

Wow a setosa, the red hot one. I threw that thing away a few years back. Grows like a weed.
On another note, and in all seriousness, its a nice looking tank.

Just wish you had some newer nicer colonies.

If you read my ad it says i have 300+ frags ready to go. Fyi, i sell them on cl, because i hate taking pics. People like you like to waste peoples time.

Also, had you not been so demanding i might have sent you a few. Unfortunately for me and my 500 gallon system, it takes to much time to farm these corals and care for the tank to be taking a million pics for every person that wants to pic collect

Nice guy, makes me want to schedule a trip to get corals from him spend a hour or so picking some out have him bag them and then say oh so sorry forgot my wallet.

Guys like this will eventually ruin this hobby. He is in it only for the newest, latest, greatest, more money I can get for, corals out there.

It’s a shame when a fellow hobbyist can not appreciate the actual joy of this hobby.

What an @h@le. It is a shame for people like him that’s in our hobby. I wonder if he ever sell anything at all with that attitude. After that 3rd email message I would have drop the reply and go on with my life than have to deal with people like that.

What really bugged me was his “Better than thee” attitude. And to put the icing on the cake, he never sent at least one pic.
Hey, I’m glad he can afford higher end corals, probally from ripping people off in his business, but that doesn’t make him better.

Better yet - do like I do. I take their email addresses and register them for every list I can find. My goal is to make sure they get so much spam they can never use that account for selling again. I’m almost as big a fan of reporting the post to CL - they don’t investigate, they just remove the post. Funny sh*t if you ask me.
