spent a little time with some njreefers at DPA haha and then actually sat in front of the tank and just watched the happenings for a couple hours…
heh i told this story at the bbq, my 2 clowns like to dig a hole in the sand just before the lights go out for bed, and just before they go out, the tomini tang comes over and takes a major large dump in their “bed”
he does this like clockwork, i cant help but laugh at the happening…
well, last night i got tired of looking at the slime growing on the 1 inch south down sand bed i put in the new frag tank a couple months ago. it seems to go sour on me. frags were bleaching out from the hydrogen sulfide seeping out. I have little luck with fine sand beds. so i siphoned all the SD sand out, less than half a bucket o sand, and replaced with an inch of reef floor grade aragonite. I will see how that goes. Should cycle in a day or two, as the tank, pipe, fuge and sump with rock have been running for a couple months, plus i add Mark Weis bacteria and sand bed booster.
so today i made more frags and swapped some of the T5 lamps around for a different spectrum mix, just for funsies.
