Just bought her yesterday She’s gonna be an investment project for me, retrain her and resell her in under a year hopefully. We will see if I can part with her after that since she is such a sweetie. Anyway, she is a 4 yr old Thoroughbred filly off the racetrack. She raced 26 times, winning 6 times and in the money about 15 times…career earnings just over $60,000. Hopefully she is as special as I think she is going to be Her registered name is Queen La Turka but her regular name is Layla
She’s a real beauty! Some old cowboy friends out west always had a half dozen around the barn, but none as nice as Her. Good luck with the training. I guess you mean detuning the race horse to street legal again? or for breeding.

Yeah retraining her to be a regular riding horse, she’s such a sweetie so I don’t think I will have too many problems with her

Thanks I do hunter/jumper but mostly hunters so thats my plan for her. Hopefully she likes that plan too lol. She is 15.3 hh but she might still grow a little bit more. I’m keeping her over in middletown where I have been riding lately.
