Just some information to all those who have never been to a frag swap before. This is your only chance in Delaware to get in on great deals and prices from vendors and hobbyists from all over the NorthEast. There is only one swap in the entire year in the state of Delaware and it is brought to you by the Delaware Reef Club. You will see some amazing, colorful, awesome corals on display, at discounted prices. Join in the raffle giveaways and possibly go home with some equipment items or frags that can be won.
Also, please go to fragswapper.com and register as an attendee for our Frag Swap. Here you can check out what other swaps are scheduled across the country. On the frag swap page you can check what people are selling at the swap, under listings, and even place an order before the swap date and then just pick up your frag at the swap. Very easy and convenient.
Hope to see you all at our Frag Swap, it is always a fun day.
Hello, I have never been to a swap before, so I was wonder if the 1 1/2 hour trip from laurel would be worth it. I know it sounds cool and something I would really enjoy just didn’t know if the ride and my Saturday was worth it. Thanks!
Its only worth it if you have the money to spend on all those corals you have been drooling over and the time to give to meet new people and have a good time and maybe win some of the raffle prizes. If your not ready for any of that then it’s a waste of time YahoO lOl
Laurel is not that far. we usually have an annual club trip dowp to Dr. Macs , south of you for a group buy. And just to check out his green house and all the good stuff. Its a fun trip.
Our Frag swap is a nice ride in the spring. Last year we had frag swappers and sellers from more than 400 miles away in Ohio. they said after the swap, they definitely want to come back this year . so i anticipate and hope we do as well or better this year.
You should take a liesurely spring ride and find some nice new corals for your tank. Its all about adding diversity to your tank. and spreading the home grown stock as far and wide as possible, to keep them viable in our hobby.
