Digital Cameras For Sale

I have 2 digital cameras for sale. Both are higher quality - just shy of Digital SLR status - I am upgrading to a full SLR and am being told I need to sell these two off first. I will include memory cards, and any accessories I happen to have for them. I have used both for tank photography and have been impressed with the quality of photographs that have been produced.

Sorry not looking for frags on this one.

SONY DSC-H1
$175
A five megapixel, Super HAD CCD imager, 12X optical zoom lens and a large 2.5-inch LCD are just a few of the features on this model that are sure to please even the choosiest photo buff.

With a focal length range of 36 - 432 millimeters (a 35mm equivalence) the DSC-H1 camera lets you frame distant objects with ease. Making the most of this telephoto reach, Sony’s Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization feature counteracts camera-shake to ensure sharp images. This feature also benefits low-light photography by allowing the use of longer shutter speeds with reduced risk of image blur from camera-shake.

Sony’s Real Imaging Processor circuitry is incorporated in the model for better battery efficiency, more responsiveness and high quality movie taking, while seven preset scene modes allow quick selection of the best setting for specific shooting conditions. The camera also includes a five-area, multi-point auto focus to help you concentrate on the subject without mistakenly focusing on the background, as well as aperture/shutter priority and manual exposure modes for creative control of the image. For added convenience, the model has 32 MB of internal memory (30 MB of usable memory) and a Memory Stick flash media slot. PictBridge compatibility enables prints in a flash when the camera is connected to an enabled printer.

SONY DSC-H5
$200
Get closer than ever with the Cyber-shot DSC-H5 digital camera from Sony. It offers a spectacular array of advantages for creative expression, including 7.2 megapixel performance for editing, cropping and making big prints, top-quality Carl Zeiss 12X Optical zoom lens and Super SteadyShot stabilization system for rock-steady long-distance photos.

I honestly know nothing about cameras, period. Sorry to be blunt and stupid (ignorant really) but how good of a shot is each, for example I’d be interested in macro shots on corals and moving shots with cars/fish. Do you have any pics you could post of email me of each to maybe get an idea on how the pics come out. Sorry for newb questions, maybe it will help other people out as well, but I am definitely interested, just means I cant buy fish this weekend :frowning:

Would you take payments? LOL but seriously… Im broke and in need of a GOOD camera.

I swap back and forth between cameras so I can never really say which pictures are from which camera but here are some examples. The camera does a good job at macro photography as is, but you can get an add on macro lens for under $60 to get ridiculously close.

Macro - you can count the polyps on the birds nest

Nubs on the mushroom

How about the detail on the anemone’s flesh

Don’t have much along the lines of good “speed shots” as I’m more of a nature photographer but you can see the detail in the snow and the fur in this one

Those look like pretty nice shots…what type of lens does it accept? (I too don’t know much about cameras)

Both take a fixed lense system so the lense is not interchangeable. the lenses are the equivelent of am 18-55mm lense with unbelievable zoom capabilities.

Lowered prices as I was able to find an on-line retailer selling the same camera new for about the same price I was asking used.

cd, my girlfriend is into photography so i will see if she would like one of them this weekend but if you sell you sell. i will let you know

H5 is sold.

H1 still available.

Price drop to $150 on the H1.
