I’m wondering if anybody has any holesaw bits I could borrow and what sizes you might have
I wish I did. They are not cheap at Home Depot.
Depot sells them?lowes didn’t have anything close to 1" or bigger
I have all the bits but not to local.
heres one place for better quality bits.
or lower price, good for drilling a few holes before it wears out.

Same thing I think with Depot. I went a month or so ago looking for them I don’t remember the biggest size they had but they were 30-50$ i think don’t quote me on that tho

It seems that its all the same with diamond coated bits. Do you get what you pay for? are the expensive ones better? I’m in the process of drilling my tank also.

Usually more holes before the bit wears out.
I bought from the cheaper place Ken listed a while back and they made a lot of holes for the price. The biggest annoyance was that the bits were not balanced and slightly warped. It did not effect the holes but took a bit longer then I would have like to make the holes and the bits wear out faster.
I still have the bits if anyone needs them.
I have a 51 mm for a 1 1/2 PVC pipe and I believe a 45 mm for a 1 inch PVC pipe. I will check when I get home
Here is a link to an article where Craig and I used the bits

Bullk reef supply… i have one for 3/4’’ bulk heads, works great, was cheap and shipped fast.
Looking for a hole saw that will make a 1 inch hole
Joe, does that mean you are drilling for a 3/4" ID bulkhead? they need a 1" OD hole.
Nah im trying to have a 1 inch hole so i guess i need a 1-1/4 bit

For Schedule 40 pipe you will need a 45mm hole saw (approx 1 3/4")
Its been a while since i thought about bulkheads.
Al has the correct hole size reference in his post above.
