Hey guys, looking for housing for a couple of new herps, does anyone have any tanks they want to off load for cheap? I would take a leaker, or even a cracker! ;D Let me know what you have, and what you want for it.

I may have something, but what size? Would a 10g or 5g work or do you need much larger?
Ha! Good question, Jon. I need something at least the footprint of a 20L. They are in 10 gallon tanks now, but that will only work for the short term.

How about a 40 breeder with a crack and 6 holes drilled in it? There are also three walls with silicone in it. Wouldn’t be pretty at all, but could hold an animal with lots of hole stoppers. Let me know as I may be trashing it tomorrow.

Have it for now, not sure if it is worth your time unless you are already planning on being up north.

Surfpunk I am going to shoot my real name(Jon) and my cell to your Private messages box. Just click on My Messages to view. ~ What time do you think you’ll drop in DPA. I actually planned on stopping in there the next couple of days so that will certainly work out well. Hate to throw things away if someone can use it.
Joe I may see if I can bang the dividers out of it so I can reuse or recycle the acrylic. Hopefully the glass walls stay intact when I do so. It has a black background I tried to put on with out Andy’s help, it may actually work best if you had a very thin piece of acrylic attached to what is currently the front with a crack and holes in it and remove the background so you have one solid 40breeder viewing hole… Maybe I should just use it for one of my herps…(yeah right Steph would kill me if I start making their tanks bigger to!)

I will be meeting Steve tomorrow at DPA. Up to you two to coordinate a drop off. Hope you are able to use it. I spent many hours drilling holes, adding the background, and putting in the dividers only to have it crack on me in a clients basement! Can’t wait to get rid of the thing.
I should be back in Middletown by 4/4:30 joe. If you still have my number give me a ring. If not pm me and i’ll send it to you again. I’m also off Wednesday. We can meet up either day. Sooner the better, cause I dunno if my wife will believe its not for me.

Lol, have to be careful there. Up until two months ago any time I walked in the door with a bag or carrying something excuses started pouring. Now I can just sneak stuff in with the stuff I buy for my clients. 
Making my own hours as well let’s me sneak in before she gets home.
Hope it is useful for something Joe. Like I said if you put a very cheap thin piece of acrylic on the side against the back and the side it would plug up the holes, then just strip off the background to open up a viewing window. Can’t beat the price.
