I wouldn’t recommend buying one and cutting it up right away, I’d give the colony at least a month to settle into a new tank and then let the frags grow for at least a couple of weeks before moving them to other tanks.
I’ve always wanted to get one of these guys, but since they ship so rough and aren’t cheap to begin with I haven’t bothered yet. Shoot me a PM and let me know where you are thinking of ordering one from if you have something in mind.
our new sponsor has one frag for 15 bucks. i will wait till we do a trip or a group buy too purchase one if noone has frags. i would love the colony sized one but dont want a large one. i love to watch them grow into a large one everything in my tank was grown from small frags.
Not bad and a frag that small if in healthy condition will likely ship better. Keeping an eye on the group buy I may pick up one as well.
Never had much luck with these, they need higher light than my wallet could afford. Mac always has some nice one’s down his way.
