DRC 2012 Officer Nomination Thread

Well it’s officially that time of year again. We get to select our leaders for the upcoming year to lead us fearlessly through another set of meetings, frag swaps, sponsor communication, goody grabs, and meeting details.

Anyone with “Premium Member” listed under their profile are eligible to be nominated for any position other than Treasurer - Treasurer requires a certain number of meetings attended, length of service with the club, and a certain amount of fortitude to put up with the line of people wanting to purchase raffle tickets every month.

So this is your thread - who do you want to see as next year’s:

President
Vice-President
Secretary
Treasurer

???

Nominations will be open until November 18th - voting will take place at the November meeting on 11/21/11.

Craig gets it done as president.

vice president, maybe Bill? I don’t know the position well other than running things when Pres is not there.

Secretary, no idea what they do as a position.

Treasurer, good 'ole faithful is good for me, he does a good job :BEER

I agree, for Prez or VP…Craig does a great job speaking at the meetings, sweet-talking sponsors/vendors, and is very out going promoting the club! Always positive with the hobby ::thumbsup::

          for Prez  or VP ...Bill, also, does everything and anything the club needs... a real swell fella   ::rofl::

Ken? always does a ton of stuff behind the scenes , do you like staying low on the radar, or do you want to step up? ::rofl::

Secretary… If nobody else wants to do it, i don’t mind… i’m just not always the most “organized” secretary type… buy i’ll always do whatever i can for the club

Marty, “super treasurer”… why mess with a good thing, unless he wants a break from all that counting…

We’ve had a great crew this year, why not keep it into next year?? PoM verdict_in Let’s keep all the current officers in their current positions. YahoO

One change though, add Ken to the new spot of Head Chili cook.

I would like to say Thank You to all the officers of DRC for doing such a great job this past year. We have had good turn outs for all the meetings, the speakers and presentations were quality and they are responsible for the large number of new members, and also the new sponsors. I have enjoyed coming to the meetings.

IMO, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Nice work guys GolfC

Well on behalf of the current officers (Myself, Bill, John, and Marty) thank you all for your vote of confidence and appreciation for what we’ve worked on this year.

With that being said… Time is running out to nominate someone else.
