I received the below email from Del tech the other day inviting us to set up a display at their Spring fund-raising Gala. Thought it was pretty cool to be invited.
"Good morning Craig,
My name is Sarah Smith and I am the Events Coordinator at Delaware Tech’s Georgetown campus. Every spring we hold our major fundraiser, the Starry, Starry Night Gala. This year’s theme is Key West and that islandesque lifestyle. Jesse Davis mentioned your organization at our meeting last week as the expert in coral reef. I’m curious if you and your organization would be interested in setting up a display at our gala this April on Saturday the 26th. "
I haven’t responded back to get more details yet but wanted to announce we’ve been identified as “The Expert in Coral Reefs” by an institute of higher education.
That’s pretty cool! My old club was never “invited” to anything. We always had to push and shove our way into things.
With that much advance notice, I would be more than willing to help out in anyway I can. Sounds like fun.

I would be willing to help if the club decides to do something. But if this is a formal monkey suit wearing fundraiser it would be behind the scenes stuff. I don’t fit in with the cheese and whine crowd.
