Anyone have a dremel I can borrow for a day? I have a rotozip but I think it’s going to be too big and bulky for making frags.
Don’t want to have to spend $90 on a tool I’m not going to use very often.

If you spend $90 on one, don’t worry I’ll borrow it often.
I’ve got a cheapo one you can borrow, what do you specifically need a cut-off wheel?
Yeah something that will let me take a chunk out of a piece of LR.
I have a couple Craig
Ive got a small snears model . with some bits. or are you looking for a cutoff wheel to cut LPS? mine wouldnt be big enough for that.
I have one but I dont think I have any attachments for cutting rock. What attachment do you usually use for cutting rock and for fragging?

Ken I need something that I can cut the rock under a frag. I have some big mushrooms that have buried their feet in crevaces over a large area and I can’t get a razor blade under them to separate so I’m just going to chunk out a piece of the rock.

Could I talk you out of the dremel and the wheel for a day or so?
You can use one of the dremels as long as you need but I'm out of the cutting wheels. I have the addapters though.
This is going to sound strange, but you could use a chisel or a screwdriver and a hammer and just break apart the rock. place the rock on a nice cushion of towel and break it up. It works, I have done it b4.

I want to save as much of the rock as possible. With any luck I’ll be able to continuing chipping away at the rock and making frags from it for months to come. (it’s pretty big rock)
